Raj Gupta

Co-Founder + Executive Chairman
Raj Gupta, P.E. is co-founder and executive chairman of GWx. He is a registered professional mechanical engineer specializing in the high-performance design of mission critical and advanced building environments. Raj brings over 40 years of industry experience including leading a multi-disciplined engineering firm. He blends deep technical expertise with the ability to shape long-range business direction.
Raj embraces GWx’s vision to shape a future where intelligence, infrastructure, and humanity advance together. His optimism is driven by working alongside industry partners for four decades to successfully improve the lives of people while making buildings healthier and more efficient.
Raj is married with four children and two grandchildren. He enjoys outdoor activities including golfing, hiking, and street photography.
Raj is involved in the community including the Adler Planetarium, The Roberts Environmental Center at Claremont McKenna College, the Young President’s Organization (YPO), and the Economic Club of Chicago.

Zac House is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GWx. He is an experienced executive in the engineering, design, and construction industry with a career focused on leading high-performance organizations and teams serving mission-critical and complex infrastructure markets. Zac brings an entrepreneurial approach to leadership centered on technical excellence, innovation, accountability, and developing exceptional people.
Zac embraces GWx’s vision to shape a future where intelligence, infrastructure, and humanity advance together. He believes the next generation of infrastructure requires collaboration across engineers, clients, contractors, technology partners, utilities, and communities to develop solutions that balance speed, performance, resilience, and long-term impact.
Zac is married with three children. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, shooting sporting clays, BBQing on his smoker, and reading about American historical figures and leaders who helped shape the country.
Zac is actively involved with Wreaths Across America, Autism Speaks, the Knights of Columbus, and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

Michael Nichols

Executive Director
Michael Nichols, P.E., Executive Director of Engineering Intelligence at GWx. He is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of data center and advanced facilities experience across consulting and owner-side leadership. He focuses on driving success through strong partnerships and high-performing teams.
Michael shares GWx’s vision of advancing intelligence, infrastructure, and humanity together. He believes combining human creativity and engineering expertise with AI elevates quality, accelerates delivery, and sharpens decision-making for next-generation mission-critical infrastructure.
Michael is a devoted family man grandfather who enjoys learning guitar, exploring fine arts, and experiencing new cultures through international travel. He is actively involved in community outreach through Agape International Missions (AIM) and similar groups focused on ending human trafficking.
